The market

The Abu Dhabi rental market

Abu Dhabi's rental market is shaped by large master-planned communities and a tenant base of government, energy and corporate employees who tend to stay longer. Islands such as Al Reem, Yas and Saadiyat attract tenants looking for newer apartments and villas, while mainland suburbs like Khalifa City and Mohammed Bin Zayed City serve families who want space. Good management here means accurate pricing by community, careful tenant screening and well-planned renewals.

We do not yet manage property in Abu Dhabi. Register your interest and we will contact you as we extend our coverage.

Regulation

Tenancy rules in Abu Dhabi

In Abu Dhabi, tenancy contracts are registered through the Tawtheeq system, now accessed via the DARI real-estate platform, and the sector is regulated by the Abu Dhabi Real Estate Centre (ADREC). A property manager should handle registration, renewals and notices in line with Abu Dhabi tenancy law and keep owners informed at every step.

FAQ

Property management in Abu Dhabi: FAQs

Do you currently manage property in Abu Dhabi?

Not yet. We currently operate in Dubai, Sharjah and Ajman. Abu Dhabi owners can register their interest and we will contact them as we expand.

What is Tawtheeq?

Tawtheeq is Abu Dhabi's tenancy contract registration system, similar in purpose to Ejari in Dubai. Registered contracts are needed for utilities, visas and resolving disputes.

Which Abu Dhabi areas are most in demand with tenants?

Demand is strong in Al Reem Island, Yas Island and Al Raha Beach for apartments, and in Khalifa City, Mohammed Bin Zayed City and Al Reef for family villas. Pricing should always be set community by community.
